Under Major Reconstruction!

The 11th US Handicapable Square Dance Convention will be in Mobile, AL. The host hotel will be the Four Star, Renaissance Mobile Riverview Hotel, located in downtown Mobile, at the foot of Government St. This hotel was purchased this past year and has just undergone a $60m renovation, from literally top to bottom!

Rooms at the Riverview are priced at $113 for Dbl/Dbl's, with up to four to a room. You will find the hotel at http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/mobrv-renaissance-riverview-plaza-hotel/ You must mention that you are coming to the USH Convention! Otherwise we don't get credit and you will be charged more. So please use the USH code when you call them.

The hotel is directly across Water Street, and Mobile's Arthur Outlaw Convention Center. This building one of the most unique in the entire world, as the major southern East/West Railroad tracks run THROUGH(!!) the building, yes, I said through the building. It is quite a sight to see long trains go into and come out the other side of this exquisitely beautiful building. It is something you will always remember!

All of the dancing and events will be in the Convention Center, which is locater directly on the Mobile River waterfront. Large glass doors open out onto a veranda overlooking the water. Berthed there just outside the ballroom is the Cotton Blossom Excursion Boat. You can arrange tours of Mobile Bay and the waterfront on the Cotton Blossom.
